HELLO BELLO

BRAND & PACKAGING

DESIGN REVIEW

This design has all of the elements of a successful packaging solution, but there are a few issues and oversights that could be addressed to make it better.

Here's a few.

Here's a few more.

And a few more.

LET'S LOOK AT

THE COMPETITION

Of these brands one stands above the others as being a better overall design. All three share some key elements that make them better solutions than the above Hello Bello example.

Attractive colors.
Big white logos.
Happy babies!

ELEMENTS OF A

GOOD PACKAGING DESIGN:

• Attractive Color

• Proportional Layout

• Strong Logo

• Limited Text

• Great Imagery

There's nothing technically wrong with this logo except that it doesn't correlate aesthetically with the product line. It's stark black color, monolithic shape, and sturdy font do not lend themselves to soft cuddly baby products.

Let's look at what a better packaging solution could be, starting with the rough shape and an attractive vibrant color.

Next we'll add the least amount of text necessary to answer some basic questions. We're going to employ a legible font consistently throughout the design, using only placement, font size and line spacing to delineate more and less important information.

Now we'll strategically place one really large picture of one really beautiful, happy baby!

Lastly we'll top it off with a logo that is more befitting the products end user's warm and cuddly nature... and Voila!

THANK YOU

=)
